Rewriting the rule book
The Great Turf Company has a vision for a chemical-free future for turf care. Rejecting the standard approach to turf management using petro-chemical fertilisers and fungicides, which are harmful to people and the environment, we have set about rewriting the rule book for turf care for a safer, sustainable future and, of course, superior turfgrass playing surfaces.
Having extensive experience in the turf care industry The Great Turf Company’s Directors, Ian Macmillan, Andrew Turnbull, Ian Morrison and Jimmy Kidd, have spent many years studying and experimenting with biological solutions to turf maintenance problems. And now, with our unique Activated Microbial approach to turf management, we endeavour to restore the natural balance in turf and soil through products and related services formulated to improve turfgrass health and quality for today and the future.
Combining our biological methodology with independent analysis and advice from Laverstoke Park Laboratories, we are able to deliver a complete turf management programme with proven results, which is revolutionising the world of turf care. Our unique product range, developed in Fife, Scotland – the home of golf – is being used by premier golf courses and sports grounds across the UK and Europe.
